Technological University, New Delhi
DTU is
one of the oldest Engineering Colleges of India & first Engineering College
of Delhi. It was established in 1941 as Delhi Polytechnic. The college
has been under the government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.In
2009 the college was given a state university status thus changing its name to
Delhi Technological University. It has the reverse case here, what we seen in
case of IIT Guwahati, its other ranks are lower than current rank it has, but
the factual ranking makes the trick here.

Institute of Technology, Vellore
VIT
University, established under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Act, 1956, was
founded in 1984 as a self-financing institution called the Vellore Engineering
College. The Union Ministry of Human
Resources Development conferred University status on Vellore
Engineering College in 2001. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has
accredited VIT as an A-grade Institution. VIT is also accredited by Cognizant,
Ericsson and Wipro Technologies.

of Technology, Banaras Hindu University
Banaras Hindu University is a public central
university located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. Established in 1916 by Pandit
Madan Mohan Malviya, BHU is one of the largest residential universities in

of Technology and Sciences, Pilani
The Birla Institute of Technology & Science, is
an Indian institute of higher education and a deemed university under Section 3
of the UGC Act. This was established in its present form in 1964.The university
has 15 academic departments, and focuses primarily on undergraduate education
in engineering and the sciences. BITS was the first Indian educational

IIT, Roorkee, formerly the University of Roorkee
(1948-2001) and the Thomason College of Civil Engineering (1853-1948),
is a public university located in Roorke, Uttarakhand, India. It is the oldest technical institution of Asia

IIT Madras is an autonomous public engineering institution located in
Chennai, TamilNadu. It is recognized as an Institute of National Importance by
